engira is a European renewable energy company developing, owning and operating solar PV assets across 11 markets in Europe and selected international markets.

Spanning more than 860 Solar PV Parks, with 1.2 GWp of capacity in operation and a development portfolio of 4.3 GWp, we are building a significant and diversified renewable energy platform. Our local presence across our markets enables us to combine strong knowledge of local conditions and opportunities with the capabilities and scale of an international organisation.

Expertise across the entire value chain

engira was created through the merger of three former Obton solar funds, bringing together a substantial portfolio of solar assets and decades of combined experience from the renewable energy sector.

Today, more than 170 people work across our organisation, with expertise spanning the entire solar value chain. From development, permitting and financing to construction, asset management, operations and optimisation, our teams work together to create long-term value from the assets we develop and own.

Our local offices are close to the markets and assets we operate in, while our international organisation allows us to share knowledge, technology and best practices across borders.

Data-driven asset management

We believe data and technology are essential to managing a modern renewable energy portfolio. We continuously collect and analyse data from our solar plants to monitor performance, identify opportunities and respond quickly when issues arise.

Our Global Monitoring Center in Milan is at the heart of this approach. Operating 24/7, our monitoring specialists oversee the performance of our solar plants around the world, helping ensure high availability, reliable operations and timely intervention when needed.
